Seeing places from a different perspective

Photography has been a longstanding interest of mine and provides a very different creative outlet from much of my professional and public life.

I have always enjoyed capturing places, landscapes, buildings and moments that catch my eye – sometimes somewhere completely new, but just as often in places I have known for years.

Living in Suffolk has provided an abundance of inspiration. East Anglia has a distinctive character of its own, from historic villages, churches and architecture to wide landscapes, dramatic skies and the changing colours of the seasons. Some of my favourite photographs have come simply from noticing something different in a familiar scene.

Travel has naturally broadened that canvas considerably. Wherever I happen to be, a camera is rarely far away, and my collection has grown to encompass landscapes, cities, architecture, aviation and some of the remarkable places I have been fortunate enough to visit around the world.

From a personal interest to something others can enjoy

Photography began purely for my own enjoyment, but over time I became increasingly encouraged by the interest other people showed in my work.

There is something particularly rewarding about somebody choosing an image I have taken because it captures a place, memory or perspective that means something to them too.

That interest has led me to make selected photographs available as prints and finished photographic products, examples of which can be found within the collection on this website.

Where a particular image is not already offered as a finished product, please feel free to contact me. Subject to availability and suitability, photographs from my portfolio can be supplied as prints or high-resolution digital copies in a range of formats.

Image licensing

My photography is also available for commercial, editorial and other licensed use.

Images may be suitable for websites, publications, marketing materials, editorial features, tourism and destination promotion, property and development material, corporate communications and other applications.

If you have seen a photograph within my portfolio that you would like to use, please contact me with details of the intended application. Licensing is considered individually according to the nature, duration and extent of the proposed use.

I am also happy to discuss enquiries concerning photographs that may not currently appear within the public galleries. My wider archive contains many more images from the locations, subjects and events I have photographed over the years.
